Here’s a recent project I completed when asked to share some information about my life. These photos include my beautiful daughter, my wonderful husband and my sweet mama. I also included a photo of myself posing in front of a mural we found in Nashville this summer because I love to travel. Finally, the quote speaks volumes about how I try to remind myself every day that God is continually blessing me if I only take the time to acknowledge it.
There is always something to be grateful for!!!

Hello!!! and Welcome to my Blog!
I am a junior at Jacksonville State University in the Elementary Teacher Education Program and I am so excited to share my journey to becoming a teacher.
I am fulfilling a life-long dream that seemed impossible for a very long time but now I am working very hard to make that dream a reality. I hope you enjoy this blog and my journey along the way.
I will be sharing a crazy mixture of my college work, personal struggles, and real-life experiences in the classroom on this blog and I hope you find it entertaining and hopefully inspiring.
I have chosen to become an educator because I have always loved working with children in any capacity and I feel that as an educator I can contribute to our collective future and participate in molding young minds.
I am very happy to be sharing my vision with all of you and my thoughts along the way.
So, again, welcome!!!
Thanks,
Shannon
